The day is here!  My book finally made its way from idea to words to countless edits and design into a real thing I can hold in my own hands.  The cover feels like cashmere.  The weight feels substantial. There are no words to describe how this feels, which I’m well aware is odd for a writer to say.

I said “Yes” to being a writer long ago in the process.  You can’t get this far if you can’t truly say “I’m a writer” out loud for others to hear, but more importantly for your own ears to hear.  Now, I’m a published author.  This is probably on the bucket list for many. But I never really craved writing or publishing. That’s not what’s behind this for me.

What puts the wind in my sails is when I see the “aha” moment in someone’s eyes.  The flash of a brilliant idea.  The joy in breaking through to a new level of awareness.  The hum of a group shifting into thrive gear together.

I’ve got my bucket list and it’s a mighty big bucket.  I’m not scared of saying “Ye”s to better, and better, and better.  I’ll follow wherever Life leads.  I’ll take door number one without seeing the good behind it.  My sails are set on a course to create “better” in all corners.

Right now, I hold the results of my own “Yes” in my hands.  I know my partnership with Life created the right words people thirst for and businesses strive for.  This book will fall into the right hands exactly when someone is ready for something better.

What’s your “Yes”?  What do your ears need to hear from your own lips to start believing it and becoming it?
